Qatar- Yaris and Corolla cars recalledTweet


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), in collaboration with Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros Co (AAB), has announced a recall of 2003-2007 Toyota Yaris and Corolla models due to defects in the front passenger airbag inflator kit.
In a statement, the MEC has affirmed that it will co-ordinate with AAB, the dealer of Toyota vehicles in Qatar, to follow up on necessary maintenance and repair processes and communicate with clients to ensure the success of the recall campaign as well as the implementation of the procedures to fix defects.
Consumers have been urged to report irregularities by communicating with the Department of Consumer Protection and Commercial Fraud Combat, which will receive complaints, suggestions and queries through its various channels.
