Diplomat proud of Kuwait's humanitarian role in Africa


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait Ambassador to Tanzania Jassem Al-Najem expressed pride over Kuwait's role in supporting humanitarian and philanthropic action in various parts around the world, particularly the African continent.
The Kuwaiti diplomat made his remarks while touring a project to build new classrooms in Al-Farouq school, Kuwait Embassy said in a statement late Wednesday, noting that the project is implemented and supervised by the Africa Muslims Committee, affiliated with Direct Aid Society, a Kuwaiti-based non-profit organization.
Ambassador Al-Najem also lauded his country's efforts to support various developmental projects in Africa, pointing out that these projects are being implemented under the directions of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
