Superloop lands Hong Kong telecommunications licence

Superloop Limited (ASX:SLC) has been granted a licence in Hong Kong allowing it to build operate and provide telecommunications networks and services.

This follows the company receiving formal confirmation from Singapore’s Infocomm Development Authority that it had installed at least 80 kilometres of fibre optic cable by 30th June 2015 a key milestone for its Facility Based Operator licence.

Accordingly this releases the company from its S$260000 performance bond linked to this milestone.

Superloop has constructed 92 kilometres of approximately 110 kilometres of fibre optic network that forms the initial Singapore high speed data network.

It continues to evaluate potential investment and network expansion opportunities in the Asia Pacific Region.
