(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Mowasalat has organised a blood donation drive for its employees in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation (Blood Donation Centre).
The drive is part of enhancing the role of the company and its staff towards the community and in line with the company's social responsibility by extending help and assistance to patients, the less fortunate and the hospitals given the high demand on blood units. It is also part of the company's partnership and cooperation with other national organisations and of its support of Hamad Medical Corporation's efforts to provide the blood units with their requirements at all times.
The company's staffs showed their enthusiasm with high participation in the drive and donated blood, fostering such worthy humanitarian and social objectives.
Managed by Dr Emad Mohammed Bahlool, "Mowasalat Medical Centre" is going through major development and expansion in terms of intensive health care provided to the Company's staff and drivers. "Mowasalat Medical Centre" is equipped with the latest medical equipment. In addition, it provides periodic and annual examinations as well as regular health follow-ups, clearly reflecting Mowasalat management's commitment to maintaining the good health of its entire staff to ensure its customers' safety.
"Mowasalat Medical Centre" will cater to the needs as a Medical Commission and is nearing completion to commence its services soon after its inauguration once the medical team are available. Building and equipment are ready and installed. Mowasalat Medical Commission will ease pressure sharing the load and demand on the existing Medical Commission.
