Tunisia obtains USD230m loan to expand roads

(MENAFN) Tunisia has received a USD230 million loan to construct and develop 146 kilometers of roadways that link the most remote areas in the country, a statement from the bank said, Reuters reported.

The move came as a part of the government's aim to enhance living standards in isolated regions where repeated mishaps have undermined security and politics.

Over the economic level, the country has been agonized since the uprising of 2011. Recent attacks have also weakened its tourism sector, which hampered the overall economy.
