Qatar- Travel with 'Ibn Battuta' at Katara


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) A decorated horse-drawn carriage is driven by an actor dressed as Ibn Battuta, the historic Moroccan traveller (1304-1369), carrying visitors to Katara through eight stops.

The stops represent the countries he visited including Tunisia, Morocco, the Arab peninsula, India, Iraq, China and Syria. During the ride the passengers are given an account of the journey in Arabic and English.

The journey starts at Katara Gate 12 and ends at Katara Ramadan Market. The rides will continue until the 20th day of Ramadan, from 9pm.
