Two Russian aircraft hijacked in Tyumen region


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Two private planes, belonging to a Russian sports club in the southern Tyumen region, western Siberia, were hijacked on Sunday morning.

Unknown people took control of the two aircraft from Ishim town; one of the two planes, a Yakovlev (Yak-52), was found on the outskirts of Yalutorovsk city while the other has yet to be accounted for, the Russian TV reported.

The investigation department of the Ural Federal District opened probes into the two incidents.
