(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Algerian President Abdulaziz Bouteflika held talks with his visiting French counterpart Francois Hollande Monday on a host of bilateral issues, as well as regional and international developments.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from the two sides, an official statement said.
Hollande, in a statement following his arrival in Algeria, said history between Algiers and Paris was "painful" but the two countries could now move forward for better relations.
