(MENAFN- QNA) The 24th meeting of GCC Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology Ministerial Committee will meet be held on Tuesday under HE the Minister of Information and Communications TechnologyDr. Hessa Al-Jaber with GCC ministers of communications and information technology attending.
The meeting will discuss a host of issues related to the development of the posts, telecommunications and information technology sectors in GCC states and means enhancing cooperation among them in this vital sector.
The meeting will also discuss results and recommendations of the 26th meeting of telecommunications and information technology sectors, held in Doha on May 13 and 14 and topics tabled on the agenda foremost of which being joint cooperation in the telecommunications and information technology sectors between GCC and the Kingdom of Jordan as well as international roaming fares among GCC states, legislations and regulations pertaining to telecommunications and information technology and regulation the internet applications and services.
