Israeli Navy wounds three Gaza fishermen in northern Gaza


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Three Palestinian fishermen were injured by Israeli naval gunfire on Tuesday while fishing off the Gaza Strip, dpa cited a Palestinian official and medics.

Nizar Ayyash, chairman of the Gaza fishermen's association, told
reporters that the three fishermen were on their boat fishing in the
water off the northern Gaza Strip when the Israeli Navy attacked
them.

'The three were moderately injured and were taken to Shiffa Hospital
in Gaza City for treatment,' said Ayyash, while medical sources in
the hospital confirmed that three fishermen were receiving medical
treatment.
