(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) The Advisor at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah signed today a cooperation agreement with the World Food Program (WFP) to deliver the relief convoy to Yemen loaded with more than 350 tons of foodstuffs and medicines, as an extension of aid ordered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to assist the brothers in Yemen.
Dr. Al-Rabiah signed the agreement on behalf of the Center and by Director of Partnerships and Government Relations Ashraf Hamouda on behalf of Program in the presence of Yemeni Minister of Local Administration Abdulraqib Fathueddin and UNICEF Regional Representative Dr. Ibrahim El-Ziq.
In a press statement, Dr. Al-Rabiah made clear that it was agreed to hand over the convoy ordered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and consists of 36 trucks weighing 350 tons loaded with foodstuffs, medicines and medical supplies including five medical trucks, 11 trucks of solutions and medical supplies and 20 trucks of food materials from which 20,000 Yemeni brothers will benefit.
On the occasion, the Advisor at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works extended his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his unlimited support for the Center, also expressing his appreciation to the Crown Prince and the Deputy Crown Prince for their support and follow up.
