(MENAFN- The Peninsula) At least 39 children have been injured when the roof of their school collapsed here on Saturday.
The severely injured children have been rushed to Nishtar Hospital while several others were provided medical treatment at the spot.
A large number of parents and locals gathered outside the school alleging that the roof collapse was caused due to on-going construction of shops by the principal next to the building.
Police have taken the principal of the school into custody.
