Holcim Indonesia Seeks Loan Worth IDR25 Trillion

JAKARTA May 21 2015 – PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk. (SMCB) a cement producer seeks loan worth around IDR25 trillion which will be used for capital expenditure and refinancing.

Holcim Indonesia Chief Financial Officer Kent Carson said the loan would be obtained from banking syndication which will be disbursed in the second half of this year.

The loan will be granted by the combination of local bank and international bank. Holcim has the option for loan maturity date for three years or five years.

“Most of the loan will be used to finance capital expenditure and working capital” he said after attending the annual general meeting of shareholders Tuesday (5/19/2015).

The company will allocate capital expenditure of US$250 million this year lower than the allocation in 2014 in view of the completion of the company’s two main plants Tuban I and Tuban II. Read more..
