(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdulateef Al-Zayani said Tuesday the Riyadh conference would pave way for resumption of political process and provide most suitable environment for achieving its objectives.
Operations Decisive Storm and Restoration of Hope have been contributing to creating the right environment for a peaceful solution, as well as sustaining humanitarian operations, economic development programs, and achieving security and stability of Yemen, Al-Zayani quoted by Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said in a statement at the conclusion of the conference.
GCC chief pointed out that the debate among all Yemeni political and civil society parties reflected the aspirations of the Yemeni people which allowed the Yemeni president Abd Rabbu Mansur Hadi to achieve these goals.
Al-Zayani asserted on the success of Riyadh conference and expressed gratitude to the Saudi government and all those who contributed to the success of this conference and those organizing such gathering.
Earlier, the conference concluded its activities reaffirming utter support to legitimacy in the country, represented by President Hadi, besides building a federal state.
