(MENAFN- Gulf Times) A high-level delegation from South Korea's Meteorology Administration, headed by vice-administrator Jung Hong Sang, held discussions at the Qatar Civil Aviation Meteorology
Department headquarters in Abu Hamour yesterday.
The Korean delegation was received by director of meteorology Ahmed Abdulla. The two sides discussed possibilities of enhancing technical co-operation between both countries in different areas of meteorology.
Besides agreeing to share knowledge on meteorological technology and its applications, the officials decided to explore further possibilities of strengthening the local Met system, improving the operations on dust forecasting and monitoring systems.
Possibilities of imparting training and exchange of experts and expertise were also discussed. Pictured are Ahmed Abdulla and Jung Hong Sang.
