Fireworks factory blast kills 11 in India


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) At least 11 workers were killed when a fireworks factory exploded in India's western state of Maharashtra, police said Tuesday, according to dap.

One more was injured at the Eagle Fireworks factory in the Sangli
district on Monday evening, local policeman Prakash Nikam said.

The blast was heard up to four kilometres away, Nikam said. 'Debris
was also scattered over a wide area.'

The cause was not immediately known.
