Saudi, French FMs meet in Riyadh


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir met with his French counterpart Laurent Fabius in Riyadh on Monday.

The two men discussed Arab, Islamic and international developments, as well as ways of further cementing bilateral relations, official SPA news agency reported.

Fabius is accompanying French President Francois Hollande who arrived in Saudi Arabia earlier today.

The French President will attend the 15th annual consultative summit of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) tomorrow.

Hollande was in Doha earlier today, where Qatar and France signed a deal worth a 6.3 billion euro (USD 7.02 billion) for the sale of 24 Rafale fighter jets to boost capabilities of the Qatari army.
