(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Ooredoo has said its mobile data scratch cards will now be available in e-Voucher format, as the company pushes to offer the most accessible top-up options for customers.
Currently, mobile data is only available via weekly or monthly subscriptions and top-up scratch cards. With this new option, customers can buy extra data from selected Ooredoo dealers without the worry of scratch card availability.
The new mobile scratch card purchasing method has become available after strong customer demand, and aims to cater for the company's large Ooredoo dealer base that sells Ooredoo products across Qatar.
To celebrate the host of current and new ways Ooredoo customers can top-up their data, the company has launched a data recharge campaign in May, which aims to unveil a range of new ways to top-up, as well as new offers for customers.
Ooredoo mobile data cards were one of Ooredoo's top sellers in 2014, and enable Hala and Shahry customers to extend their mobile data limit and access to the network, without eating into their existing credit.
Ooredoo mobile data cards and e-Vouchers have been designed specifically for the next generation of customers that consume more data due to smartphone capabilities and smart lifestyle. The top-ups come in denominations of 250MB for QR20, 1GB (QR60), 3GB (QR80), 6GB (QR100), and 15GB (QR200).
Mobile data scratch cards and e-Vouchers will be valid for 30 days once activated, and customers can use more than one top-up during the 30-day validity period. The data will also work in conjunction with Ooredoo's 4G and 4G networks.
To activate the mobile data cards and e-Vouchers, follow the instructions on the back of the card, or printed on their receipt to redeem the data. Ooredoo mobile data e-Vouchers can be purchased at any Ooredoo e-voucher selling outlets.
