Hygiene vouchers distributed to Syrian refugees

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Jordan's Red Crescent Society, with the support of the German Red Cross, handed out hygiene coupons on Sunday for some 436 Syrian refugee families and a local community in the northern Irbid Governorate.

The distribution ceremony included lectures on chronic diseases, such as hypertension and diabetes as well as communicable diseases, in addition to information to the public about first aid training, including administering proper first aid to the injured before being transferred to hospital.

The Red Crescent thanked the Jordanian Women's Committees for hosting the event and allowing aid workers to provide training workshops and health awareness programs to Syrian refugees.
