(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The value of loans issued by the Kuwait Credit Bank for fiscal 2014-2015 amounted to about KD 258 million (USD 854.1 million) spread among 4532 separate loans, announced the Bank in statistics it put out on Saturday.
Up to 3217 of the loans went for home construction, 341 for outright purchasing of existing homes, and 49 for home renovations, said the statistics.
The number of loans given by the bank to Kuwaitis wishing to marry reached 7233 whereas loans for widows and divorced women topped almost KD 16 million spread among 294 separate loans, 218 of which went toward outright purchasing of a home, said the statistics.
