More air raids hit Houthi targets in Yemen

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Saudi-led coalition on Thursday night launched a new wave of airstrikes against targets of the Houthi rebels and the troops loyal to Yemen's ousted president Ali Abdullah Saleh in Sanaa, Al-Hudaydah and Al-Dhale'.

The raids hit camps of the Special Forces and the Republican Guard Corps in Arhab district to the north of Sanaa, an air defense camp to west of Sanaa, and a number of Houthi camps in Sa'ada, Al-Hudaydah and Al-Dhale', witnesses said.

The coalition launched the ongoing Decisive Storm operation in response to the appeal of Yemen's legitimate President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi for the Arab countries to intervene militarily in order to save his country from the Houthi militias and to restore its security and stability.

Earlier tonight command of the operation announced the success of the first stage and vowed to pursue the targets of the operation thoroughly.
