Pres. Abbas says Arab draft resolution to be presented at UNSC Mon.
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said that the Arab draft resolution seeking a UN resolution to set a timeframe to end Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories would be presented on Monday at the UN Security Council.
During a phone call with US Secretary of State John Kerry Sunday evening, Abbas stressed that the draft resolution would be submitted to the UN Secretary Council on Monday (tomorrow) according to the Arab and Palestinian joint stance, Palestine's news agency reported (WAFA).
He reaffirmed the Palestinian stance which rejects all kinds of settlements, especially in Jerusalem, noting that Palestine would not change this stance, WAFA said.
