(MENAFN- QNA) Qatar's Embassy to the Republic of Costa Rica held today a reception at the InterContinental Hotel in San Jose on the occasion of Qatar's National Day. During the reception, HE Qatar's Ambassador Jaber Ali Al Adba delivered a speech on the remarkable changes made by HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Khalifa Al Thani, who has given the young people a responsibility to put the country at the highest ranks and strengthen relations with friendly countries .
In his speech at the function , Eduardo Trejos, Costa Rica's vice minister of foreign affairs, spoke about the precious attributes of the Qatari nationals and their remarkable loyal to their country ,noting to the ties of friendship between the two countries and peoples.
The ceremony was attended by the Costa Rican Vice-President of the Parliament Marcela Guerrero Campos and Costa Rican Minister for Women Mrs. Alejandra Mora and a number of senior officials in the Government of Costa Rica, the heads of parties in parliament, the ambassadors accredited to the country and several heads of universities, intellectuals and businessmen.
