Pele's kidney treatment temporarily halted, hospital says

(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency)  The kidney treatment being given to Brazilian
football legend Pele has been temporarily halted as his condition
improves, dpa cited the Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo as saying on Sunday.

Though the 74-year-old remains in intensive care, kidney dialysis has
been halted for the time being, a statement said. Pele's condition,
and the need for dialysis, will be re-evaluated Monday.

Doctors said Pele, a three-time World Cup winner, remained stable and
was breathing unaided.
