GCC Secretary General Condemns Yemeni Official's Assassination

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Riyadh November 04 (QNA) - GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani has strongly condemned the assassination of Dr. Mohammed Abdulmalik al-Mutawakkil member of the Supreme Council of the Union of Popular Forces party in Yemen calling it a cowardly act of terrorism that is contrary to all moral and human values.

GCC Secretary General said that the assassination of Dr. Mohammed al-Mutawakkil is a great loss to Yemen and its national political forces and the peaceful march noting to his national sincere positions and his efforts to push the political process in Yemen.

He also expressed hope to speed up efforts in arresting the perpetrators of this heinous criminal incident and bring them to justice expressing his condolences to the family of Dr. Mohammed al-Mutawakkil and the Yemeni government and people. (QNA)
