Cofely Besix Mannai Facility Management Awarded Qatar Petroleum Contract


(MENAFN- QNA) Cofely Besix Mannai Facility Management (CBMFM) has been awarded its first contract by Qatar Petroleum to maintain and replace all the heating, ventilating, air conditioning (HVAC) equipment located at Dukhan Fields.

According to a statement issued by Cofely Besix Mannai, the Facility Management will be responsible for maintaining more than 1200 HVAC assets in Dukhan Fields, in Qatar, an area measuring approximately 65 km long, containing over 700 oil-gas-and water injection wells, and over 4,000 km of pipelines.

The contract with Qatar Petroleum is valid for an initial five year period, and will require a total of 120 operational personnel.

"Our scope involves corrective, reactive and planned preventative maintenance for all HVAC assets in Dukhan fields as well as minor project element that covers replacement of various HVAC assets," Scott Bethel, General Manager of Cofely Besix Mannai Facility Management, explained.

"A full condition assessment of all HVAC assets will be carried out within the first 90 days, including the development of a Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule and a Replacement Programme for any equipment requiring change out.
