Car bombs kill five people, wound 25 others in S. Baghdad


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) At least five people were killed and 25 others were wounded in two separate car bombs in Mahmoudiyah city, south of Baghdad, Iraqi police reported Thursday.

A police source told KUNA that the first car bomb exploded near a building under construction, killing three people and wounding 15 others.

The second car bomb went off near a public hospital, killing two people and wounding 10 others, the source added.

It noted that all victims of the two attacks were transferred to hospital to receive medical treatment.
