(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Jassem Al-Bedeiwi on Saturday hosted a reception in honor of the Kuwaiti senior-level delegation and sports mission to the 2014 Asian Games, officially known as the XVII Asiad.
The reception was attended by Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, Board Chairman of the Public Authority for Youth and Sports (PAYS) Sheikh Ahmad Al-Mansour Al-Sabah and Chairman of Kuwait Olympic Committee (KOC) Sheikh Dr. Talal Al-Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
In statements to KUNA, Al-Bedeiwi expressed joy for the presence of the senior level delegation at the major continental sports event in Incheon, voicing hope that the Kuwaiti sportspeople and athletes will be able to offer impressive performance at the competitions.
Ambassador Al-Bedeiwi affirmed that the embassy has put all its resources at the disposal of the sports mission since they arrived in the Republic of Korea, with a view to ensuring their successful participation in the event.
He added that the embassy has published a booklet for the mission that includes useful information on the Republic of Korea in order to facilitate their stay.
