Bombing attack on Iraqi intelligence building kills two civilians


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) At least two civilians were killed and ten others injured when a booby-trapped car exploded at a security checkpoint near the headquarters of the Iraqi Interior Ministry's Intelligence Agency in the capital Baghdad Saturday.

The powerful explosion also damaged four vehicles that were parking near the targeted building, a security source told KUNA on condition of anonymity.

In a separate incident, the Iraqi police announced that a bombing attack on a recruitment center for volunteers southwest of the city of Tikirt killed 11 people and injured 30 others late Thursday.
