Yemeni Pres. praises GCC support

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Yemeni President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi praised on Monday efforts exerted by GCC countries and their support to his country in various fields.

President Hadi made his remarks during the reception of President of GCC Mission to Yemen Ambassador Saad Al-Araifi, highlighting brotherly relations and ties between Yemen and the GCC council.

Discussion between the two sides also covered mutual relations between the two, and developments in the region and international arena, including procedures and steps to implement the outcomes of the comprehensive national dialogue conference to secure Yemen's stability.

For his part, Ambassador Al-Araifi stressed on GCC support for Yemen in all fields and support steps and decisions that take place at various levels in order to ensure Yemen security, prosperity, and stability.

Meanwhile, President Hadi received also US Ambassador in Sanaa Matthew H. Tueller, and UK Ambassador to Yemen Jane Marriott.

The Yemeni leader also hailed US and Britain for their support to the Yemeni people, including their support to ongoing stability and security of Yemen.
