Eight people killed in collapse of three buildings in Morocco


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Eight people died and 17 injured following the collapse of three residential buildings in Casablanca, according to local authorities on Saturday.

Casablanca city province said in a statement that the numbers are preliminary due to the number of those injured and still in hospital, adding that civil defense teams ended their work in the site after the accident last night.

The statement noted that the general prosecutor has opened an investigation on the incident.

In early hours last night, three buildings collapsed Casablanca's Bourgogne district.
