ya'alon said at a meeting with foreign military attaches in israel "abu mazen cannot control gaza and if he applies his rule there he first has to disarm hamas. if he does not do this the reconciliation with hamas is a false display meant to trick the world." he added" israel is not willing to deceive itself and if the palestinian leadership which the world perceives as moderate is unwilling to declare israel as the nation-state of the jewish people then what are we talking about?" he pointed to the changes of the middle east becoming a source of instability in the entire world claiming that the iranian regime is the central cause of instability in the middle east and all conflicts in the region from syria to ghaza.
