(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Ramallah April 24 - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met Thursday with Martin Indyk U.S. special envoy for Middle East peace negotiations.
The meeting reviewed the results of the Palestinian reconciliation that was announced yesterday in Gaza toward which Washington voiced concern and expressed disappointment Palestinian sources said.
The two sides also discussed means of reviving negotiations between the Palestinian Authority and the Palestinian government which have stalled due to the latter's refusal to release a fourth batch of Palestinian prisoners.
