TEPCO Sends Highly Toxic Water to Wrong Building at Fukushima Plant


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) kyo April 14 - Tokyo Electric Power Co. said Monday that about 203 tons of highly radioactive water have been erroneously sent to a building at the accident-hit Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. The water is unlikely to have leaked outside the building as the radiation level of groundwater nearby has not changed but the utility is checking why certain pumps were turned on and sent water to the wrong building. The water contained 37 million becquerels per liter of radioactive cesium
