Two Indian Soldiers Killed in Landmine Explosion


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) w Delhi April 10 - Two Indian soldiers were killed and 7 others injured in a landmine explosion and an ambush carried out today by Maoist rebels as voting got underway in eastern India's Bihar state. Indian police official Ranjan Kumar said the two soldiers were killed in the area of Munger when a jeep carrying them to a polling station drove over a landmine. Maoist insurgents have urged voters to stay away from the polls and threatened to disrupt the election
