(MENAFN- Arab Times) A case has been filed against an unidentified Kuwaiti youth accusing him of assaulting and raping a young woman inside his apartment in Al- Shaab, reports Al-Anba daily. In her complaint to the police the woman said the youth had promised to marry her and told her that his mother wanted to see her. When she went to the apartment she did not find anyone. He then reportedly told her to wait until the mother returns home and offered her orange juice and she became unconscious. He then raped her.
Drugs, cash seized: A Kuwaiti citizen and a Bedoun man were arrested in possession of 332 narcotic pills, a bottle of imported liquor, cash of KD 5,890, 22,500 Iraqi dinars, 43,000 Saudi riyals, 5 Syrian liras and US $1, reports Al- Shahed daily. During an inspection campaign, securitymen stopped a vehicle driven by a Kuwaiti citizen with a Bedoun man. They searched the vehicle and found the abovementioned items. They were arrested and referred with the confiscated items to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.
