(MENAFN- Arab Times) An Ethiopian housemaid tried to commit suicide in her sponsor's residence by hanging herself from the ceiling of her room with an electrical cable, reports Al-Rai daily.
Securitymen from Abdullah Al- Mubarak Police Station foiled the suicide attempt and rushed her to Farwaniya Hospital for treatment.
The sponsor claimed ignorance of reasons that could have led his housemaid into committing such an act. The police have registered the incident for legal procedures
