Daleel Petroleum offers job opportunities to Omanis


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Daleel Petroleum was present at the Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) Annual Career Fair, offering both job and training opportunities to Omanis.


Company representatives from the human resources department and corporate communications were delighted to interact with students and respond to their questions. Daleel is rapidly growing with a need to increase the number of its working forces in a variety of disciplines. Daleel has offered a number of positions since the beginning of the year.


On the occasion of the SQU job fair another batch of vacancies were announced targeting both fresh graduates as well as experienced job seekers. In addition, the Company offers several training opportunities for students both in its head office in Muscat and the field. Training is offered to Omani students for a period of 15 weeks which normally takes place during the summer vacations.


Human resources and administration manager Ahmed al Kharusi, said, ''Daleel is keen on supporting Omanisation and considerably offers opportunities to Omanis as a priority. This has supported the Omanisation rates in the company and developed future leaders from the local market. Specific positions are offered to fresh graduates allows fresh blood flow into the organization and generates an energetic young working force to propel the business further towards success.''


Daleel Petroleum is one of the leading oil producing company in Oman. It is a 50/50 joint venture registered in Oman between Mezoon Petrogas (subsidiary of MB Holding and Mezoon Petrogas BVI (subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation). The company was formed during the second half of 2002.


Daleel Petroleum is involved in exploration; appraisal and production of hydrocarbon reserves located onshore Oman approximately 450km north west of Muscat. Daleel Petroleum LLC aims to maximise the development of oil and gas reserves in a cost effective manner.
