Kuwaiti Inciting Filipino Household Workers In Flesh Trade


(MENAFN- Arab Times) An unidentified Kuwaiti man has been arrested and handed over to the General Department for Criminal Investigation for allegedly inciting Filipino household workers to run away from their sponsors and then using them in flesh trade, reports Al-Rai daily



The arrest came after the Philippines Embassy in Kuwait filed a complaint with the concerned authorities accusing the 45-year-old suspect luring Filipino women to escape and then forcing them into prostitution. It has been reported after the complaint was filed the Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Security Affairs issued a directive to check on the authenticity of the complaint and arrest the suspect



Police reports say the suspect was offering the women for sex for clients who visit a cafÈ. At the time of arrest, the suspect was in the company of eight young women. He has been referred for further interrogation
