China's iron stockpile up 8 percent


(MENAFN) China's stockpiles of imported iron ore increased at 25 major ports as a result of weaker demand, Xinhua reporte



The stockpile of iron at the ports was 99.93 million tons in the week running from February 11 to February 17



A Xinhua-China Iron Ore Index reported reveals that the figure represents an 8.18 percent increase from the week before it



Production at factories was stopped or slowed as migrant workers went home for the Lunar New Year
