Dubai's Kaloti to build USD60m gold refinery


(MENAFN) Dubai's Kaloti Jewellery Group said that it hired a contractor to construct a precious metals refinery, Arabian Business reported. United Engineering Construction (UNEC) has been hired to build the refinery at a cost of USD60 million. The refinery is set to be the world's largest as its will a capacity to refine up to 1,400 tonnes of gold and 600 tonnes of silver per year. The refinery will also produce wholesale investment casted, minted bars and jewellery.
