Costa Rica to increase dairy exports to China


(MENAFN) Costa Rica is planning to increase its dairy exports to China next year by increasing the number of containers shipped by Costa Rica"s Dos Pinos to 100, Xinhua reported. Figures from the Foreign Trade Promotion Office (Procomer) show that Dos Pinos has already shipped over 42 tons of milk and cream to China. Costa Rica"s Minister of Agriculture and Livestock said: "We began with two or three shipping containers of milk to China and now there are contracts for 100 shipping containers a month for next year, which represents a huge increase and a great acceptance of the quality of a Costa Rican product."
