Iraq signs USD6 billion refinery deal


(MENAFN) A government statement said that Iraq has signed a deal with the Swiss-based SATAREM to construct an oil refinery worth USD6 billion, according to Arab News. The refinery's capacity reaches 150.000 barrels per day. Prime Minister Nuri Al-Maliki said: Today, we sign a contract for an important investment project... which will contribute (to) filling the country"s need for petroleum products."
