(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Tunisian Justice Minister Noureddine Bhiri said Friday that his Italian counterpart Paola Severino has signed an agreement of extraditing Muiz Trabulsi, the nephew of Layla Al-Trablisi, Tunisia's ex-first lady, to stand trial in Tunisia.

The Tunisian minister said in a press conference that the extradition procedures would be based on Italian judicial system. Severino signed the extradition order after the court rejected an appeal Trabulsi to prevent sending him to Tunisia.

Bhiri added that procedures regarding the extradition of Belhasan Trabulsi, the brother of Layla, who fled to Canada since the revolution, also on track and is on a very advanced stage, affirming the international organizations' support to Tunisia and its efforts to bring back money stolen by members of the former regime.
