(MENAFN Press) Doha, 4 November 2012 -
Starting November 1, Baraem TV, a subsidiary of Al Jazeera Children's Channel (JCC) will now, through Baraem Europe reach and touch more audiences in Central Europe suitable viewing times.
Baraem TV is the first dedicated free to air pre-school channel for Arab children providing preschoolers with dedicated and quality content to assist them in their discovery and developing process in their formative years.
Baraem TV's programming grids are built after careful research into audience viewing habits and are scheduled to coincide with their social, physiological and psychological needs. As all shows are presently telecasted at Mecca time, young audiences in central Europe have not reaped benefits from the shows owing to time differences.
Baraem Europe will essentially mean that the same Baraem shows will now be broadcasted hours after Mecca time to appear at the 'right' time for the audiences in Europe, through the same official satellite frequency.
Saad Al-Hudaifi, Acting Channels Director said, "JCC is a strategic child centric channel that always considers its audiences' needs, habits and aspirations as a key catalyst to its strategic plans. With this new feed, we will continue to inspire our audiences now at times best suited for them in North Africa and Europe as we do for our audiences in Doha and Saudi Arabia."
The newly added feed will maintain the same programing grid as the current frequency. It will simply now be available in the right places, at the right times.
