Ambitious Jordanian youth seeking creativity and inspiration will need to look no further! The 8th newthink Theater Event is set to open its doors to the public on Wednesday 26th September, between 5:30pm and 8:30pm at the Cultural Palace in Al Hussein Youth City.
Organized by Al-Jude for Scientific Care, the 8th newthink Theater Event is supported by a number of participating private sector companies that champion innovation. Event partners include: Umniah, Bank al Etihad, Shami Eye Center and Roya TV. Sponsors include: Behind The Scenes, DV8 Digital Marketing, Jeeran, Maestro Entertainment, Bidaya Corporate Communications, Play FM, Ayyam FM and Al Noor Printing Press.
Event speakers will tackle a range of enlightening topics and inspiring ideas that are relevant to people's daily lives using an interactive theatrical approach. Featured speakers will include successful community and business figures who will share their experiences to demonstrate the power of determination as well as to motivate attendees to think positively and turn their dreams into reality.
Young entrepreneurs will get the chance to meet Nour Khrais, passionate game developer and CEO of Maysalward Gaming Company, the first mobile game development company in the Middle East. Khrais will be delivering a session entitled "Game of Trust". Other scheduled speakers are Hasan Al-Halabi, a rebel writer who aims to make a difference in his and other people's lives, and who will present a segment entitled "Ta'a 'u Aimeh"; and Hazem Betar, a programmer, film director, digital designer and Founder of PIN 13 Protospace, a technology lab/club located in Amman, who will deliver a segment entitled "Ana 'ayesh Ma'a James Abu Bond".
The 8th newthink Theater Event will also involve the participation of Sharek organizers “ a community initiative that aims to spread the culture of social entrepreneurship and volunteer work in Jordan “ through a segment called "Ana Mali?". In addition, Fouad Majdalawi “ General Manager of Interactive Knowledge Center, founding Board Member of Ibn Rushd National Academy, publisher, coach and innovator “ will present "Ihshi 'u Imshi".
In turn, Husam Fakhouri, a Jordanian passionate about youth empowerment, will conduct a segment called "Shu Mraytak", while Rashed Al-Na'sa, a green building architect focused on environmental sustainability, will talk about "Rjeem Zbaleh". Ghiya Rushidat, a piano player and film soundtrack composer who aspires to be the first female Oscar Award winner for original score in the Middle East, will present on "Al Noteh Btifre'!".
Rasha Baka'i, a young marketing, media and social entrepreneurship enthusiast, will present "Tiji Nehki"; Laith Al Qasem, business development expert, will deliver "Tasmeemak hayaseebak". Ahmad Tantash, Chairman and CEO of Jordan Investment Trust PLC-JordInvest will also be participating; and Nabil Tarazi will share through his segment, "Ma Tshoufha Bas"Jarribha", his journey of self-discovery which began when he left his comfortable job in IT and set off on an adventure that ended with him establishing Feynan Ecolodge.
