(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) As Oman's forerunners in supporting and nurturing local talent, the Khimji Ramdas Group (KR)?will be sponsoring the country's current go-karting champions “ Sanad al Rawahi and Abdullah al Rawahi “ as they take part in international races such as the FIA/CIK under-18 World Championship.
The brothers recently did their country proud by winning both the junior and senior category title in the go-karting competition held in the UAE. Abdullah clinched the junior title and Sanad won the senior title. Both of them are confident that victory will repeat itself when they participate in the FIA/CIK U-18 World Championship.
''We at KR take immense pride in sponsoring the Rawahi brothers as they represent the sultanate in go-karting competitions. The team's victory at both the junior and senior levels is an indication of their promising prospects in Fia/CIK under-18 world championship,'' said Hritik Khimji, director, KR.

The teen go-karting champions are a shining example for Oman's talented youth to hone and showcase their skills to their country and to the world.
The team manager for the Oman Go-Karting team and the boys' father, Suleiman al Rawahi said that the competition was a great learning experience provided the right exposure to prepare the brothers for a proper car racing in 2013. The brothers themselves are ecstatic about the entire experience. ''The last four weeks have been great learning for me. I raced in three mega events, starting with Hungary RMC, Braga Portugal and the Central Eastern European championship and was placed in the first ten positions,'' said Abdullah.
Sanad was glad to be back home to recharge his batteries before the next big event in Sweden.
''The Euro Challenge championship is one of the biggest championships in Europe and I am sure it will be not easy but I will do my best. The round 2 of the U18World championship is my main target. I hope I bring back good results,'' he said.
