Briton dies as mobike overturns in UAE 

(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) A 50-year-old British resident was killed after the motorbike he was riding overturned and caught fire on the Emirates Road, close to Exit No. 116 recently.

"The accident is mainly attributed to speeding, inattentive driving and sudden turn," said Captain Saif Salem, Head of the Salma Comprehensive Police Station.

"The biker lost control of the vehicle, which veered off the road and crashed into the iron fence in the median. Then it crossed to the other direction and caught fire," he added.

Though the biker was wearing the right suit and helmet, he received grave injuries and died on the spot. The body was shifted to the morgue.
