(MENAFN) Kenya Airways' regional manager, Abraham Joseph, said that the carrier plans to increase its flights to the Middle East, reported Arabian Business.

Joseph added that the company, which started operating from Dubai around 25 years ago, would double its daily service to the emirate; moreover, it would raise the number of flights to Jeddah.

He also said that during the current year, the African carrier would launch a Beirut service; on the other hand, the firm is considering flights to Karachi in Pakistan, a route that would be served via Dubai.

It is worth noting that at the current time, Kenya Airways operates 10 flights a week to Dubai, in addition to three flights a week to Muscat and 2 flights a week to Jeddah.
