Caterpillar builds manufacturing plant in Georgia 

(MENAFN) Caterpillar said that it started constructing a new 90,000 square meters manufacturing plant in the state of Georgia, reported AP.

The company added that the plant would be forecasted to recruit 1,400 workers, in addition to another 2,800 full-time jobs at other firms such as
suppliers

On the other hand, Georgia Governor, Nathan Deal, said that the project is creating the largest number of new jobs since a Kia Motors plant was built.

It is worth noting that the Peoria, Illinois-based company announced in November that it has plans to shift production from Japan to a new factory in North America to make small tractors and excavators.
